Createx 2025 kicks off, a fair where fashion in motion and flash mobs will be the stars

From Wednesday, June 11th to Friday, June 13th, the seventh edition of Createx 2025, the specialized textile and apparel trade show in Colombia, will take place. Among this year's new features, the event will feature fashion flash mobs, a project expected to be one of the most innovative and engaging expressions of the event.

These interventions consist of unexpected and creative performances in which a group of people, who initially appear disorganized, coordinate to create a dynamic display of clothing, accessories, or trends in public spaces within the fair.

Their surprising nature not only captures the attention of attendees but also transforms the atmosphere, creating a unique and unforgettable experience. Flash mobs at Createx will highlight new design proposals, establish an emotional connection with the public, and create striking visual content, thus strengthening the event's visibility and reach.

Furthermore, Createx, organized by Corferias and the Colombian Chamber of Apparel and Related Industries, as the country's most relevant knowledge platform for goods and services for the textile and apparel industry, offering solutions and services for the manufacturing of finished products, is also aware that fashion is a living, dynamic form of expression deeply connected to cultural and social roots. Therefore, these innovative flash mob spaces during the fair will not only surprise the public but also convey messages through art, movement, and design.

Regarding the fashion flash mobs at the seventh edition of Createx, Lilian Conde, project manager, said: “From the identity-driven power of 'Moda Raíces' and 'Soy Yo, Yo Soy' to the cyclical reflection of 'Fashion, like life itself, moves in cycles,' each flash mob presentation is a celebration of national creativity and talent.
